Subscriptions
The revenue your store never sees
Checkout Champ sends the first sale to your store but bills every renewal itself. MerchantFlow imports those charges so your profit includes them.
When Checkout Champ runs your checkout, the first sale is usually pushed to your Shopify store as an ordinary order. The renewals that follow are not. A membership rebill, a shipping club charge or a recurring product cycle is billed and settled inside Checkout Champ, and your store has no record of it.
That gap is easy to miss and expensive to ignore. Store-based reporting undercounts revenue, overstates how much each customer cost to acquire relative to what they paid, and gives no view of the subscriptions that keep billing in the background.
The MerchantFlow Checkout Champ integration reads those charges directly and adds them to the same P&L, order list and customer history as your store orders. Sales that Checkout Champ already pushed to your store are recognised and not counted twice.
What it syncs
Recurring charges (rebills) that are never sent to your store
Initial sales Checkout Champ did not push to your store
Refunds against imported charges, updating the original charge
Subscription status: trial, active, paused, payment retrying, cancelled
Billing cycle number for each charge, so renewals are marked as renewals
Payment fees and discounts recorded on each charge
What you get
Complete revenue
Renewal income sits in the same P&L as your store sales instead of in a separate CRM export.
No double counting
A sale Checkout Champ already pushed to your store is matched to that store order and skipped, so only the missing charges are added.
Subscription reporting
Active, paused and cancelled subscriptions feed the Subscriptions page, including charges currently in payment retry.
Honest costs for memberships
A membership that ships nothing carries no product cost, while a recurring physical product is costed from your COGS like any other order.
One account, several stores
If one Checkout Champ account serves more than one store, each store imports only the campaigns that belong to it.
What this unlocks
Net profit including renewals
The P&L counts the recurring income that store-only reporting leaves out.
Customer value that includes rebills
Customer history and lifetime value reflect what each buyer was billed in total, not just their store orders.
Active and churned subscriptions
How many subscriptions are live, paused, retrying or cancelled, from Checkout Champ's own status.
Renewal share of revenue
How much of each period's revenue came from repeat billing rather than new sales.

How it connects
Create an API user
In Checkout Champ, add a dedicated API user with access to the order, purchase and transaction queries, and whitelist the server IP we give you.
Choose your campaigns
MerchantFlow matches recent Checkout Champ orders to the orders already in your store and suggests the campaigns that belong to it. You confirm the list.
History and new charges import
Recent charges arrive first, then history is backfilled. After that, new charges are picked up as your store syncs.
How teams use it
A typical case is a store whose checkout adds a low-priced monthly club, such as free shipping or member pricing. Every renewal is real revenue with almost no cost of goods, but none of it appears in Shopify.
- Compare net profit before and after the renewals are imported to see how much of the business they actually carry.
- Check the Subscriptions page for subscribers stuck in payment retry, which is revenue at risk rather than revenue earned.
- Use the renewal flag on orders to separate first purchases from repeat billing when judging acquisition campaigns.
- Review the product list once, marking which Checkout Champ products are memberships and which are shipped goods.
Good to know
Abandoned and declined checkouts are ignored
Checkout Champ keeps partial and declined orders in its order list. Only completed and refunded charges count as revenue.
Dates follow your Checkout Champ account timezone
Checkout Champ reports times in the account's own timezone. MerchantFlow detects it at connection, and you can correct it in settings if your account uses a different one.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Which plans include it?
Every plan. Imported charges count in your P&L, orders and customer history whichever plan you are on. The Subscriptions page, with active subscribers, renewal profit and the month's projection, is part of the Pro and Plus plans.
Will my store orders be counted twice?
No. When Checkout Champ pushed a sale to your store, it records the store order number, and MerchantFlow uses that to skip the charge. Only charges your store never received are imported.
Why do I need to whitelist an IP address?
Checkout Champ only accepts API requests from addresses listed on the API user. We give you our server address during setup so the connection works without opening the user to everyone.
Does MerchantFlow change anything in Checkout Champ?
No. The integration only runs read queries for orders, purchases and transactions. Refunds and cancellations are still made in Checkout Champ, and MerchantFlow picks up the result on the next sync.
How are membership charges costed?
Products you mark as memberships carry no product cost. Products you mark as store products use the cost of goods you already maintain in MerchantFlow. Payment fees and refunds are counted either way.
What happens if I remove a campaign later?
The charges and subscriptions imported from that campaign are deleted from this store and your reports are recalculated, so nothing from a wrongly chosen campaign lingers.
