If Fulfilment Plus ships your orders, your real fulfilment cost is whatever they bill you - and it is rarely one tidy number. Pick and pack is charged per order, extra handling appears when an order needs it, and resends get their own charges. Rebuilding that per order from a monthly invoice is the kind of job that quietly does not get done.
The MerchantFlow integration for Fulfilment Plus reads the charges raised against your orders and the shipping fee recorded on each shipment, totals them per order, and writes them into per-order profit and your P&L.

Every report is limited to your customer account at Fulfilment Plus. If a report ever contains another customer's charges, MerchantFlow refuses it rather than using any of it.
Light on API usage
One batched charge report per date range and one shipment list, reused across syncs, instead of a request per order.
Runs alongside your other 3PLs
Use Fulfilment Plus for New Zealand orders and another 3PL elsewhere. Each order's cost comes from the 3PL that has the charge for it.

How it connects
Ask Fulfilment Plus for access
They create an API client for you and send the client ID, the secret and your customer ID.
Connect in MerchantFlow
Enter those details in Settings. MerchantFlow checks the credentials belong to Fulfilment Plus, reads your account name and confirms it can see your shipments before saving anything.
Costs sync automatically
Charges flow in through the month and the previous month is reconciled after Fulfilment Plus invoices it.
Good to know
A shipment without a shipping fee shows as unavailable
If Fulfilment Plus ships an order but no shipping fee is recorded on the shipment, MerchantFlow shows that order's fulfilment cost as unavailable rather than leaving freight out. Collected orders have no freight and are costed without it.
It syncs fulfilment cost, not cost of goods
Fulfilment Plus ships stock you already own and never bills product cost. Your COGS continues to come from your own cost data.
Packaging is not included
Fulfilment Plus calculates packaging separately from the per-order charges this integration reads, so packaging costs do not come through yet.
Mid-month figures can change
Charges can be adjusted when the month is invoiced, so an order's cost can move after the month closes. The monthly reconciliation is what makes the final number land.
Fulfilment Plus has to set up access
The API credentials and your customer ID come from Fulfilment Plus. Ask them for these before connecting.
Storage is not attributed per order
Storage is billed per period and has no order to attach to, so it stays out of per-order cost and belongs in operating expenses.

What does it sync?
The charges Fulfilment Plus raises against your orders - pick and pack and any ad-hoc charges - plus the shipping fee recorded on each shipment, totalled per order and written to that order's fulfilment cost.
Does it sync my cost of goods?
No. Fulfilment Plus stores and ships stock you already own, so it never bills you for the product itself. Cost of goods still comes from your own COGS data. This integration covers fulfilment cost only.
Does it include packaging?
Not yet. Fulfilment Plus calculates packaging separately from the per-order charges this integration reads, so it does not come through automatically.
Are the amounts GST-inclusive?
No. Fulfilment Plus charges are recorded ex GST, which is the right basis for cost if you are GST-registered and claim GST back.
How are charges matched to my orders?
Orders that Fulfilment Plus receives from Shopify carry your order number, so their charges match automatically. Resends raised against an existing order are added to that order.
Why can a cost change after month end?
Charges can be adjusted when Fulfilment Plus invoices the month. MerchantFlow shows the charges raised so far, then re-reads the closed month after invoicing so the final figures replace the earlier ones.
Is it read-only?
Yes. MerchantFlow only reads charge data. It never creates, edits or cancels anything at Fulfilment Plus.
What about storage charges?
Storage is billed per period rather than per order, so it is not spread across orders - splitting it would move your per-order cost around with order volume. Record storage as an operating expense instead.
Do I need to be a Fulfilment Plus customer?
Yes. This integration reads the charges Fulfilment Plus bills to your account, so it is for merchants whose orders they fulfil.
