Connect each Supply Chain Fusion account you ship from, such as Australia and the United States, and MerchantFlow writes the freight on every sent dispatch into that order's profit, matched to your Shopify orders.
When Supply Chain Fusion ships your orders from more than one country, freight is spread across separate accounts, each billing in its own currency. Working out what freight cost you on a given order means lining up dispatches from each account against your store's orders by hand.
The MerchantFlow integration for Supply Chain Fusion connects each account to its own market, reads the freight charged on every sent dispatch, and writes it into per-order profit and your P&L, converted to the currency you report in.

Freight per order, not an average
The freight Supply Chain Fusion charges for each shipment, which is the carrier's cost plus their margin, set when the shipment is booked. That is the number that lands on your invoice for almost every order.
Each market kept separate
Your Australian account only ever costs orders shipping to Australia, and your US account only orders shipping to the US. Accounts never read each other's orders.
Works beside your other 3PLs
Run Supply Chain Fusion for Australia and the US alongside another 3PL, such as Fulfilment Plus for New Zealand. Every other market keeps its own 3PL or your fulfilment cost method.
No invented numbers
If a dispatch has no freight charge yet, the order shows its cost as unavailable instead of a made-up figure, and MerchantFlow checks again on the next sync.

How it connects
Create an API account for each market
In the Supply Chain Fusion portal, add an API user for every SCF account you ship from. Each one has its own API user name and password.
Add each market in MerchantFlow
In Settings, choose the market, confirm its billing currency and enter that account's credentials. MerchantFlow checks them with Supply Chain Fusion before saving, and the key is encrypted.
Freight syncs automatically
After each order sync MerchantFlow reads newly sent dispatches for each market. Adding a market also backfills its earlier orders.
How teams use it
Selling into Australia and the United States from separate warehouses usually means two very different freight bills. Seeing them per order is what lets you price each market on its own terms.
- Compare freight as a share of order value in Australia and in the US to see which market's free-shipping threshold needs to move.
- Find products whose freight in one market consumes most of their margin while the other market is fine.
- Check whether multi-item orders ship more cheaply per item in each market before deciding on bundle pricing.
- Watch the freight line by market alongside ad spend so break-even ROAS reflects what delivery really costs.
Good to know
Freight only
Pick and pack, packaging, storage and account fees are not in Supply Chain Fusion's API, so they do not come through. Add them as operating expenses if you want them in your P&L.
Each market needs its own API account
Credentials from your Australian account cannot read your US account. Add an API user in the Supply Chain Fusion portal for every account you connect.
A dispatch without a freight charge shows as unavailable
Until Supply Chain Fusion records the freight on a sent dispatch, that order's cost shows as unavailable rather than zero, and any cost already stored is kept.
Carrier adjustments stay on the invoice
The freight charge is set when the shipment is booked. The rare adjustments a carrier makes after delivery are settled on your Supply Chain Fusion invoice and do not reach MerchantFlow.
Orders need a shipping country
Each connection only costs orders shipping to its market, so an order with no shipping country is not matched to any Supply Chain Fusion account.

Frequently asked questions
What does it sync?
The freight charge on each dispatch Supply Chain Fusion has sent: the freight they charge you for that shipment, which is the carrier's cost plus their margin. It is written to the order's fulfilment cost.
Does it include pick and pack or storage?
No. Supply Chain Fusion's API only provides the freight charge, so pick and pack, packaging, storage and other warehouse fees are not included. Record recurring warehouse fees as operating expenses.
Does it sync my cost of goods?
No. Supply Chain Fusion stores and ships stock you already own and does not bill product cost. Cost of goods still comes from your own COGS data.
What if the carrier changes its charge after delivery?
Supply Chain Fusion settles occasional post-delivery carrier adjustments on your invoice, and the freight charge MerchantFlow reads is not updated. If you want an adjustment reflected, edit that order's fulfilment cost by hand; a cost you enter yourself is never overwritten.
I ship from two Supply Chain Fusion accounts. Can I connect both?
Yes. Add one connection per market, for example Australia and the United States, each with that account's own API credentials. Disconnecting one market leaves the others connected.
How are dispatches matched to my orders?
MerchantFlow matches the order reference Supply Chain Fusion holds for each dispatch to your Shopify order number. If your store adds a prefix to the references it sends, set it on the connection.
Which currency are amounts in?
Each connection has a billing currency, pre-filled for common markets such as AUD for Australia and USD for the United States. Freight is converted from it to the currency you report in.
Is it read-only?
Yes. MerchantFlow only reads sent dispatches and their freight. It never creates, changes or cancels anything at Supply Chain Fusion.
