Fulfilment
True margins for your Printful orders
Soon you'll be able to sync the production and shipping costs Printful actually charged for each order into your profit view, matched to your store orders automatically.
Printful is coming soon. It is on our near-term roadmap - start a free trial now and we'll let you know the moment it goes live.
Print on demand makes cost of goods genuinely difficult. Every variant has its own production cost, that cost changes by product, size, and print area, and shipping depends on where the item is produced and where it is going. A catalogue of a few hundred variants becomes a cost spreadsheet nobody keeps current.
The MerchantFlow Printful integration is on the near-term roadmap. When it goes live, it will read the production and shipping costs Printful actually charged for each order and match them to the corresponding store order, so per-order cost of goods maintains itself.
Until then, costs can be imported in bulk or set by rule across a catalogue, so print-on-demand margins stay usable in the meantime.
What it syncs
Actual per-order production costs (COGS)
Per-order shipping, digitisation, and fulfilment fees
Tax and VAT charged on the order
Fulfilment status and carrier tracking
Per-item costs matched to your SKUs
Costs by destination country, automatically
What you get
Per-SKU COGS, zero upkeep
Costs arrive with the order, so a large print-on-demand catalogue does not need a maintained cost spreadsheet.
Real shipping costs per order
Actual freight and fulfilment fees per order rather than an assumed flat rate.
Per-country margins
See which markets are worth advertising into once production and shipping are counted.
Honest catalogue decisions
Identify which designs and product types genuinely earn their place.
Costs in the currency you report in
Printful bills in your store currency. Amounts are converted so your P&L stays in one currency.
What this unlocks
True margin per product
Profit once the price Printful charged for each item is counted, not an assumed average.
Profit by destination country
Which markets remain viable once production location and freight are applied.
Break-even ROAS per product
What each design needs to return from ads before it is worth promoting.
Product viability scoring
Which designs to keep, reprice, or retire, based on delivered margin rather than order count.

Not yet available to connect
Printful is on the roadmap rather than live. You can start a free trial now, connect your store and ad platforms, and add this integration when it ships.
Costs land once Printful charges the order
A draft order carries an estimate rather than a charge, so its cost is not booked. Costs appear once the order is submitted and priced.
Per-item costs need a SKU
Item costs are matched to your line items by SKU. Where a Printful item carries no SKU, its share of the order cost is spread across your lines by revenue instead.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
What does it sync?
MerchantFlow pulls the actual production cost, shipping and fulfilment fees, tax, and tracking for every Printful-fulfilled order into your P&L.
Do I still need to upload COGS spreadsheets?
No. Each charged order carries the cost Printful actually billed, so new products and variants are covered automatically.
Is it read-only?
Yes. MerchantFlow reads order and cost data only. It never creates, confirms, or cancels a Printful order.
What about draft and cancelled orders?
Printful does not charge for draft orders, and a cancelled order's charge is reversed, so neither is booked as cost. Only orders Printful has actually charged contribute to your COGS.
My Printful store bills in euros. Does that work?
Yes. Costs are converted from your Printful store currency into the currency your MerchantFlow account reports in.
How should I handle print-on-demand COGS in the meantime?
Costs can be imported in bulk from a spreadsheet or applied by rule across a catalogue, including percentage and target-margin rules, so margins stay usable before the direct integration ships.
How will I know when it launches?
Start a free trial and connect your store. Product updates appear in the dashboard as soon as the integration becomes connectable.
