Fulfilment
ShipMonk costs, straight into your P&L
Soon you'll be able to sync pick, pack, and postage costs from your ShipMonk warehouses into MerchantFlow, so every order reflects its true fulfilment cost.
ShipMonk is coming soon. It is on our near-term roadmap - start a free trial now and we'll let you know the moment it goes live.
ShipMonk billing is detailed, which is useful for auditing an invoice and awkward for reporting. Pick fees, pack fees, storage, postage, and surcharges arrive as line items that have to be reassembled into a per-order cost before they mean anything for margin.
The MerchantFlow ShipMonk integration is on the near-term roadmap. When it goes live, those costs will sync into your profit and loss at the order level, so each order carries its real fulfilment cost without any manual allocation.
Until then, other fulfilment integrations are available today, and fulfilment costs can be entered manually or imported in bulk so your margins stay accurate in the meantime.
Fulfilment is usually the second largest variable cost after product cost, and the one most often carried as an estimate. Whether it arrives through a direct integration or a bulk import, getting a real per-order figure into the P&L is what separates a margin you can act on from one you are guessing at.

Good to know
Not yet available to connect
ShipMonk is on the roadmap rather than live. Start a free trial and connect your store and ad platforms now, and this integration can be added when it ships.
Storage fees are not per-order costs
Warehouse storage is a period cost rather than something attributable to an individual order. It belongs in operating expenses, where it is tracked separately from per-order fulfilment cost.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
When will ShipMonk be available?
ShipMonk support is on our near-term roadmap. Start a free trial and we'll let you know as soon as it goes live.
What costs will it bring in?
It will sync pick, pack, and postage costs from your ShipMonk warehouses so they appear in your P&L.
Can I use another 3PL today?
Yes. Speedfulfill and CJ Dropshipping are available now, and you can also enter a flat fulfilment cost percentage in the meantime.
Can I track ShipMonk costs manually in the meantime?
Yes. Fulfilment costs can be entered manually or imported in bulk from a spreadsheet, so your margins stay accurate before the direct integration ships.
Will historical costs be backfilled when it launches?
The intention is to backfill available history on connection, consistent with how the other fulfilment integrations behave, subject to what the ShipMonk API exposes.
How will storage fees be handled?
Storage is a period cost rather than a per-order one, so it is tracked through expense tracking as an operating expense rather than being spread artificially across individual orders.
How will I know when it is available?
Start a free trial and connect your store. Product updates are published in the dashboard, so you will see it as soon as it becomes connectable.
Which fulfilment integrations work today?
Speedfulfill and CJ Dropshipping are available now. Fulfilment costs from any other provider can also be imported in bulk or entered manually, so nothing has to wait on this integration.
Why does fulfilment cost matter so much for margin?
It is usually the second largest variable cost after the product itself, and it varies far more than people expect by weight, basket size, and destination. A flat average hides exactly the orders that are losing money.
