Connect SATHI to Claude and ChatGPT
SATHI tracks what your affiliates earn, but that commission never reaches the store's own numbers. MerchantFlow deducts it from every order SATHI tags in Shopify, so your AI answers profit questions with affiliate commissions already counted.
What you can ask once it is connected
“What did SATHI affiliates cost us last month as a share of revenue?”
Your SATHI rule deducted 1,870 last month across 143 orders, 4.1% of net revenue. Contribution margin on those orders after commission was 35%, against 39% for the store overall.
Example answer, shown to illustrate the shape and level of detail. Your figures come from your own connected account.
What SATHI alone cannot tell you
Connecting an AI directly to SATHI is genuinely useful, and for some questions it is all you need. It stops being enough the moment the question involves money you spent somewhere else.
- Shopify orders SATHI attributes to your affiliates
- Affiliate rewards and bonuses paid outside Shopify
- Cost of goods on the products those orders shipped
- Your ad spend and operating expenses
What MerchantFlow adds
- Affiliate commission deducted from each SATHI-ORDER tagged order
- No setup in SATHI: the tag is added automatically
- Ambassador product sends never charged
- Commissions reduced or removed on refunds and cancellations
- A Commissions line in your P&L, beside payment fees and ad spend
MerchantFlow does not connect to SATHI itself: it reads the SATHI-ORDER tag on your synced Shopify orders and applies the rate you set, so the figures follow your rule rather than SATHI's payout records. The tag does not identify the affiliate, so there is one rate for every SATHI order and no tool yet that lists commissions per affiliate.

I've tried quite a few of these profit tracker apps (even tried making one myself), but honestly, none of them offer what MerchantFlow does and the ones that come close cost 10x the monthly price. My favorite feature by far is the integration with my 3PL, so the data I'm seeing is the actual data not a guess.

I've been using MerchantFlow for the last six months in order to better understand my brand's profitability. The tool has without a doubt been super insightful and allowed me to make changes within the business that have nearly doubled our brand's monthly profit. This is the best profit analysis and optimisation tool going around for any ecommerce brand owner right now.

Its super important for me to know my numbers down the the exact percentage and I can trust Merchant Flow to get it right. I've used other softwares in the past but none of them have half of the features this does and always end up not being correct. Highly recommend using it if you're running an ecommerce store.

Great app, and perfect for what i need to see all my numbers down to the cent across my 3 warehouses in USA, Australia and NZ. Nimesh is an absolute legend to work with. I highly recommend it! I even include this in my package of useful tools that I recommend to the entrepreneurs I mentor.

How to connect it
- 01
Add a SATHI commission rule
In MerchantFlow, open Settings > Commissions and start from the SATHI template. The SATHI-ORDER tag is filled in; set your rate and past and future orders are priced automatically.
- 02
Add MerchantFlow to ChatGPT or Claude
In ChatGPT, open MerchantFlow from the plugin directory. In Claude, add it as a connector. Either way you approve read-only access and there is nothing to install. Your dashboard shows the current steps for each client, because the clients move their menus often. In Meta's Muse, ask it to create a custom connector with the MerchantFlow URL. In the Gemini app, add it as a custom app under Settings, Connected Apps.
- 03
Ask in plain English
Your AI now reads the same figures as your dashboard, joined across every source you have connected.
MerchantFlow is listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory
Open the listing in ChatGPT, sign in or start a trial, and approve read-only access. There is no server URL to copy.
Included on every paid plan, trials included. Starter reads 90 days of history, Pro reads 12 months, and Plus and Agency read your full history.
The tools your AI calls
These are the actual tools MerchantFlow exposes for SATHI questions. Every claim on this page maps to one of them.

Does MerchantFlow need access to my SATHI account?
No. SATHI orders are recognised by the tag on your synced Shopify orders, so there is nothing to authorise in SATHI and nothing MerchantFlow can change there. Your AI client gets read-only access to the resulting figures.
Will the numbers match my dashboard?
Yes. Your AI calls the same calculations the MerchantFlow dashboard uses, so the same question over the same period returns the same figure in both places.
