Connect Supply Chain Fusion to Claude and ChatGPT
Supply Chain Fusion knows the freight it charges on every dispatch, account by account. MerchantFlow joins that freight to your Shopify orders in each market so your AI can show your margin after shipping.
What you can ask once it is connected
“Which market's freight cut deepest into margin on our smallest orders last month?”
On orders in the lowest value band, US freight averaged about 22% of order value against 13% in Australia, pulling US contribution margin down to 9%. Most of the gap came from single-item orders, which paid the same freight as two-item baskets.
Example answer, shown to illustrate the shape and level of detail. Your figures come from your own connected account.
What Supply Chain Fusion alone cannot tell you
Connecting an AI directly to Supply Chain Fusion is genuinely useful, and for some questions it is all you need. It stops being enough the moment the question involves money you spent somewhere else.
- Order revenue and product cost without the freight bill from each market
- Freight split across separate Australian and US accounts in different currencies
- No per-order view of which market's shipping is eating margin
- Free-shipping thresholds set without per-market freight data
What MerchantFlow adds
- The freight Supply Chain Fusion charges on each sent dispatch, matched to the Shopify order
- One connection per market, each only costing orders shipping to that market
- Freight from split shipments added together per order
- Amounts converted from each account's billing currency to your reporting currency
- Orders still waiting on a freight charge shown as unavailable, never as zero
Supply Chain Fusion's API reports freight only: the price they charge you, set when the shipment is booked. Pick and pack, packaging, storage and product cost are not included, and occasional post-delivery carrier adjustments appear only on the Supply Chain Fusion invoice.

I've tried quite a few of these profit tracker apps (even tried making one myself), but honestly, none of them offer what MerchantFlow does and the ones that come close cost 10x the monthly price. My favorite feature by far is the integration with my 3PL, so the data I'm seeing is the actual data not a guess.

I've been using MerchantFlow for the last six months in order to better understand my brand's profitability. The tool has without a doubt been super insightful and allowed me to make changes within the business that have nearly doubled our brand's monthly profit. This is the best profit analysis and optimisation tool going around for any ecommerce brand owner right now.

Its super important for me to know my numbers down the the exact percentage and I can trust Merchant Flow to get it right. I've used other softwares in the past but none of them have half of the features this does and always end up not being correct. Highly recommend using it if you're running an ecommerce store.

Can it change anything in Supply Chain Fusion?
No. The connection is read-only and no write access exists to grant. Your AI can read figures and reason about them; it cannot create, edit, pause or delete anything.
Will the numbers match my dashboard?
Yes. Your AI calls the same calculations the MerchantFlow dashboard uses, so the same question over the same period returns the same figure in both places.
